| dc.description.abstract | Com recurso à literatura, tem sido possível verificar que o funcionamento familiar tem influência nos comportamentos autolesivos (CAL) (Randel, Wang, Herting & Eggert, 2006) e na ideação suicida (IS) (Gouveia-Pereira, Abreu & Martins, 2014). Esta investigação tem como principal objetivo perceber a relação existente entre CAL, a IS e o funcionamento familiar, tendo em conta as perceções dos três elementos do agregado familiar (pai, mãe e filho), com recurso ao Modelo Circumplexo de Olson. Os dados deste estudo, foram recolhidos de uma amostra de 93 adolescentes, com idades compreendidas entre os 14 e os 20 anos de idade, da área da grande Lisboa, respetivos pais e mães. Foi pedido que preenchessem as seguintes escalas: Escala de Avaliação da Coesão e Flexibilidade Familiar FACES-IV (Olson, 2011), Inventário do Comportamentos Autolesivos (Duarte & Gouveia-Pereira, 2019) e o Questionário de Ideação Suicida (Reynolds, 1988), tendo-se verificado que: 33,1% dos adolescentes apresentam CAL (N=31), 66,7% não apresentam estes comportamentos (N=62), 18,28% apresentam IS (N=17) e 17,20% dos jovens que apresentam CAL, também apresentam IS. Verifica-se uma correlação negativa entre os CAL a IS e o funcionamento familiar, o que significa que, quanto melhor o segundo, menor a presença de CAL e IS no adolescente. Os resultados mostram que não existem diferenças na perceção do funcionamento familiar entre Pais de adolescentes com e sem CAL e com e sem IS, existindo entre Pais e filhos com Cal, entre Pais e filhos sem CAL e entre jovens com e sem CAL, e com e sem IS. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Using the literature, it has been possible to verify that family functioning has influence on self-harm behaviours (SHB) (Randel, Wang, Herting & Eggert, 2006) and on suicide ideation (SI) (Gouveia-Pereira, Abreu & Martins, 2014). This investigation has as major objective perceive the relationship between SHB, SI and family functioning, taking into account the perceptions of the tree elements of the household (father, mother, and son), using the Olson Circumplex Model. The data was collected from a sample of 93 adolescent’s aged 14 to 20 from the Lisbon metropolitan area, and respective fathers and mothers. They were asked to complete the following scales: Evaluation Scale of Family Cohesion and Flexibility FACES-IV (Olson, 2011), Self-Harm Behavior Inventary (Duarte & Gouveia-Pereira, 2015) and the Suicide Ideation Questionnaire (Reynold, 1988). The main results were that 33,1% of adolescents presented SHB (N=31) , versus 66,7% that this behaviours (N=62). 18,28% have suicidal ideation (N=17) and 17,20 % of the young people who presents CAL, also presents IS. We find a negative correlation between SHB/SI and family functioning which means that: the better the family functioning is, the lower the presence of SHB/SI. The results show that there are no differences in the perception of the family functioning between Parents of adolescents with and without SHB and with and without SI, but they exist between Parents and adolescents with SHB, between Parents and adolescents without SHB and between adolescents with and without SHB, and with and without SI. | pt_PT |
