Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como principal objectivo explorar a experiência de quem vivência a
audição de vozes. Ao longo dos últimos anos foi um tema que ganhou importância na
investigação científica.
Neste estudo, privilegia-se a experiência individual de cada pessoa sobre a vivência de ouvir
vozes, segundo a perspectiva que a audição de vozes possa ser entendida como uma
experiência do funcionamento normativo do indivíduo (Londgen et al., 2012).
O foco deste estudo é dar voz à experiência individual de quem a vivência, privilegiando
assim as narrativas pessoais de cada um. Através de um método qualitativo, utilizando-se a
análise temática procurou-se estudar, conhecer e demonstrar a experiência de ouvir vozes.
Utilizou-se como instrumento de recolha de dados um guião de uma entrevista construída com
um focus group, constituído por pessoas que têm a experiência de ouvir vozes, recorrendo-se
assim a um procedimento de investigação colaborativa.
Conclui-se com este estudo que a experiência de ouvir vozes tem um sentido na vida e que
reflecte experiências da vida da pessoa, corroborando-se com estudo anteriores portugueses,
considerando-se um contributo para a valorização universal desta experiência.
In this study, the main goal is to examine the experience of those who hear voices. This topic has gained prominence in scientific research in the last few years. This paper focuses on the individual experience of each person undergoing their day-to-day lives while hearing voices, in accordance with the viewpoint that hearing voices can be seen as a regular facet of the everyday life of the individual (Londgen et al., 2012). The paper at its core aims to give voice to the individual experiences of those who live with it, thus privileging the personal narratives of each person. It presents a qualitative methodology, using thematic analysis in order to study, know and demonstrate the experience of hearing voice. As a data gathering instrument na interview script developed in cooperation with the focus group was used, making this a collaborative investigation. This study concludes that the experience of hearing voices has meaning in life and reflects the emotional states of the subject, corroborating previous studies.
