A presente investigação pretende estudar a importância da improvisação no desempenho das equipas de trabalho. Atualmente, a improvisação organizacional é
vista como um fator dinâmico para o desempenho das equipas e organizações que se
desenvolvem em contextos cada vez mais complexos e incertos.
Sendo a improvisação um fenómeno no qual permite ter a capacidade de dar uma
resposta adequada a um acontecimento inesperado face a uma determinada situação,
estudou-se o cenƔrio dos bombeiros voluntƔrios para testar as condiƧƵes da sua
ativação e a sua utilização.
Este Ć© um estudo qualitativo, tendo sido utilizadas entrevistas como metodologia
ideal para caracterizar a temƔtica. Este visa saber, de uma forma mais concreta, a
atividade e a dinâmica das equipas de trabalho no contexto em causa, a importância
dos planos de trabalho e a sua influência no desempenho e resultados alcançados.
Foi possĆvel verificar a existĆŖncia de improvisação neste contexto em especĆfico,
indo de encontro com a literatura e com o objetivo em estudo. De facto, a
improvisação é uma realidade importante que adiciona rapidez e flexibilidade no
processo de tomada de decisão desta corporação de bombeiros.
This research aims to study the importance of improvisation in the performance of work teams. Currently, organizational improvisation is seen as a dynamic factor in the performance of the teams and organizations, that occurs in increasingly complex and uncertain contexts. Improvisation is a phenomenon that is characterized by the ability to respond appropriately to unexpected events in a particular situation, we studied the scenario of volunteer firefighters, in order to to test the conditions of its activation and use. This is a qualitative study, the main methodology used was interviews, because it's the ideal method to characterize the theme. This study aims to know, in a more objective way, the work teams activity and dynamics, the importance of the work plans and their influence on performance and results. It was possible to verify the existence of improvisation in this context in particular, meeting with the literature and with the goal in the study. In fact, improvisation is an important reality that adds speed and flexibility in decision-making process of this fire department.
