O presente estudo tem como objectivo aprofundar o conhecimento acerca das Percepções de Justiça Organizacional em contexto de Empresas Familiares, bem como perceber a relação entre esta variável e os níveis de Compromisso Organizacional e Satisfação Laboral dos colaboradores destas empresas. Assim, pretendeu-se averiguar: 1) as diferenças entre Empresas Familiares e Não Familiares ao nível das Percepções de Justiça Organizacional, 2) as diferenças entre Pequenas e Médias e Grandes Empresas Familiares também ao nível das Percepções de Justiça Organizacional, 3) a relação entre as Percepções de Justiça Organizacional e o Compromisso Organizacional e 4) a relação entre as Percepções de Justiça Organizacional e a Satisfação Laboral.
A nossa amostra final é constituída por 202 participantes, dos quais 97 fazem parte de Empresas Familiares e 105 de Empresas Não Familiares, que responderam de forma voluntária ao questionário partilhado online.
Através dos resultados obtidos é possível concluir que, na presente amostra, não existem diferenças significativas entre Empresas Familiares e Não Familiares no que respeita às Percepções de Justiça Organizacional, sendo este resultado replicado na comparação deste constructo entre Pequenas e Médias e Grandes Empresas Familiares. A partir das regressões lineares simples realizadas, verificou-se que as Percepções de Justiça Organizacional exercem uma influência significativa e positiva nos níveis de Compromisso Organizacional e Satisfação Laboral dos colaboradores das Empresas Familiares, sendo este efeito mais significativo nas dimensões Compromisso Afectivo e Satisfação com os Benefícios, respectivamente
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to create more insight about Perceived Organizational Justice in the context of family businesses, as well as to understand the relation between this variable and the levels of Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of employees of Family Businesses. The purpose was therefore to find out: 1) The difference between Family Businesses and any Other Types of Businesses with respect to Perceived Organizational Justice; 2) the differences between Small, Medium and Large Family Enterprises also with respect to Perceived Organizational Justice; 3) the relation between Perceived Organizational Justice and Organizational Commitment and 4) the relation between Perceived Organizational Justice and Job Satisfaction. Our final study includes 202 participants, of which 97 are part of Family Businesses and 105 of Other Types of Enterprises. These participants voluntarily answered the questionnaire that was shared online. Through the results obtained it is possible to conclude that, in the referred-to study, there are no significant differences between Family Businesses and any Other Types of Enterprises as far as Perceived Organizational Justice is concerned, and the same result is obtained in the comparison of this construct validity between Small and Medium and Large Family Enterprises. From the simple linear regressions performed, it was verified that the Perceived Organizational Justice has a significant and positive influence on the levels of Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of employees in Family Businesses and even more significant in the Affective Commitment and Satisfaction with Benefits, respectively. Implications and limitations of the present study, as well as future suggestions, are discussed.
