dc.description.abstract	A violência filioparental em Portugal, está cada vez a aumentar mais. Verifica-se também que este tipo de violência está a ter maior visibilidade pela comunidade científica e pelos psicólogos. A origem da violência filioparental demonstra-se associada aos conflitos interparentais que os filhos presenciam. Posto isto, este estudo focou-se principalmente em perceber a correlação entre os conflitos interparentais e a violência filioparental. Adicionalmente, foi relevante perceber o impacto de se percecionarem como culpabilizados e triangulados (variáveis mediadoras) nos conflitos interparentais, medeia a relação entre os conflitos interparentais e a violência filioparental. Além disso, pretendeu-se compreender se existe uma relação entre os filhos sentirem vergonha interna e externa, e a violência filioparental. Este estudo é composto por uma amostra de 176 jovens adultos portugueses com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 30 anos de idades. Esta é uma amostra aleatória e foi recolhida de forma online, onde foram aplicadas a Escala de Perceção de Conflitos Interparentais pelas Crianças, Adolescentes e Jovens Adultos, o Questionário de Agressão entre Filhos e Pais e a Escala da Vergonha Externa e Interna. Os resultados comprovaram que existe relação entre os filhos vivenciarem os conflitos interparentais e a realização de comportamentos de violência filioparental. Verificou-se também que os filhos ao se percecionarem como culpados e triangulados medeiam a relação entre os conflitos interparentais e a violência filioparental. Estes resultados demonstram a importância deste tema da violência filioparental, e porque é relevante existir mais literatura sobre este tema em Portugal.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT: Child-to-parent violence in Portugal is on the rise. This type of violence is also gaining visibility in the scientific community and among psychologists. The origin of child-to-parent violence is associated with the inter-parental conflicts that sons witness. That said, this study focussed mainly on understanding the correlation between interparental conflicts and child-to-parent violence. In addition, it was important to understand how the impact of perceiving themselves as guilty and triangulated (mediating variables) in interparental conflicts mediates the relationship between interparental conflicts and child-to-parent violence. We also wanted to understand whether there is a relationship between the fact that sons feel internal and external shame and child-to-parent violence. This study consisted of a sample of 176 young Portuguese adults aged between 18 and 30. This is a random sample and was collected online, where the Scale of Perception of Interparental Conflicts by Children, Adolescents and Young Adults, the Questionnaire of Aggression between Children and Parents and the Scale of External and Internal Shame were applied. The results showed that there is a relationship between the fact that children experience interparental conflicts and their behaviour of filioparental violence. It was also found that the sons, by perceiving themselves as guilty and triangulated, mediate the relationship between interparental conflicts and child-to-parent violence. These results demonstrate the importance of this issue of filioparental violence, and why it is important to have more literature on this topic in Portugal.	pt_PT
