Neste estudo pretende-se investigar em que sentido varia a vinculação à mãe em meninas pré-adolescentes com e sem irmãos.
Neste período, da pré-adolescência, ocorrem várias mudanças quer a nível estrutural quer a nível físico, que afectam as adolescentes. Estas procuram entender quem são e qual o seu papel na sociedade em que vivem assim como no meio em que se rodeiam, família e amigos.
Trata-se de um estudo comparativo, onde queremos investigar se nesta fase de reorganização pessoal faz diferença o facto de ter ou não irmãos e se este factor influencia a vinculação à mãe. Para tal foram constituídos dois grupos: adolescentes femininas com e sem irmãos. Utilizamos o Inventário da Vinculação aos Pais e aos Pares – IPPA (Arsmden & Greenberg, 1987) numa versão portuguesa adaptada. A recolha foi feita em escolas da rede pública e privada na região da grande Lisboa.
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to investigate how attachment of adolescent girls to their mothers can be different if there are siblings. During this period, of pre-adolescence, many changes occur both at structural and physical level, which affects adolescents. These try to understand who they are and their role in society in which they live as well in their surroundings, family and friends. This is a comparative study, in which we want to research if, in this crucial moment of pre-adolescence and personal reorganization, having siblings predispose a change in attachment to their mother. To this propose we built two groups: female adolescents with and without siblings. We use The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment – IPPA (Arsmden & Greenberg, 1987), in a Portuguese adapted version. The sample was collected in public and private schools in the region of Lisbon.
