Thus, this study aims to assess the efficiency of brief existential psychotherapy, in therapeutic processes of 10 or 13 sessions. Method: The brief psychotherapy process of 4 participants, with ages between 39 and 49 years ( χ = 43; σ = 4.546), all female, were analyzed through the use of the phenomenological method (qualitative data) and the Wilcoxon test (quantitative data). The aforementioned processes were held at a private social instituiton and were carried out by two existential psychotherapists. Results: The results suggest changes in all participants, even though it did not reach statistical significance. Conclusion: Clinical changes were observed in all participants, veryfying the efficiency of brief psychotherapeutic process in the existential approach.
