Modelos internos dinâmicos de vinculação : Uma metáfora conceptual?

| dc.description.abstract | É inegável que, no contexto da investigação sobre as implicações desenvolvimentais das relações de vinculação, o conceito de Modelos Internos Dinâmicos (MID) tem vindo a assumir uma capacidade explicativa crescente e extensiva (ver Bretherton & Munholland, 2008; Thompson, 2008b). Todavia, apesar da centralidade dos MID na Teoria da vinculação, é de referir o “caos calmo” que parece existir na literatura ainda hoje, mais de 50 décadas de estudos depois, à volta da utilização desta metáfora conceptual que, embora apelativa, não corresponde ainda a um constructo teórico solidamente definido e empiricamente testável (ver Bretherton, 2005; Delius, Bovenschen, & Spangler, 2008; Thompson, 2008a). De forma a percebermos melhor o que poderá contribuir para este cenário de “caos calmo”, analisaremos, seguidamente, a evolução histórica do conceito, no âmbito da Teoria da vinculação, partindo das primeiras formulações de Bowlby e integrando contributos posteriores. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: It’s noticeable that, inside the research literature on the developmental implications of children’s attachment behavior, the Internal Working Models (IWM) concept has assumed a wide explicative capacity (see Bretherton & Munholland, 2008; Thompson, 2008b). Albeit the centrality of the IWM within the Attachment Theory’s framework, it’s generally recognized the “calm caos” that still exist around the use of this “user-friendly” conceptual metaphor, not yet considered a well-defined, empirical testable construct (see Bretherton, 2005; Delius, Bovenschen, & Spangler, 2008; Thompson, 2008a).
