| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo teve como objectivo verificar o grau de envolvimento dos adolescentes com o álcool e a respectiva caracterização. A amostra foi constituída por 200 adolescentes, com idades compreendidas entre os 15 e os 18 anos de idade, que frequentavam os 10º, 11º e 12º anos de escolaridade, no ano lectivo de 2007/2008, em diversas escolas do concelho de Lisboa. O instrumento utilizado foi a versão portuguesa de Barrias et al (1986) “ Escala de Envolvimento com o Álcool no Adolescente” (AAIS), desenvolvido por Mayer e Filstead em 1979. É um questionário construído com o objectivo de caracterizar os adolescentes, conforme o uso de bebidas alcoólicas. É de realçar que todos os sujeitos da amostra afirmam já terem consumido álcool. No que diz respeito a esses consumos, quase metade ingerem bebidas destiladas, havendo uma menor prevalência do consumo de cerveja. A maioria bebeu pela 1ª vez entre os 14 e os 15 anos de idade. Quanto às quantidades ingeridas, 1/3 dos sujeitos apresentam um consumo do tipo binge drinking. A grande maioria da amostra (cerca de 2/3) encontra-se descrita como “Bebedores habituais sem problemas”; 1/3 da mesma classifica-se como “Bebedores habituais com problemas”; e só uma pequena parte, está incluída nos “Bebedores irregulares”. Verificou-se também, a existência de uma relação directa significativa entre a frequência e a quantidade ingerida, assim como entre a frequência e o início dos consumos de bebidas alcoólicas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The main reason of this study was verify the degree of involvement of the adolescents with the alcohol and the respective characterization. The sample was constituted by 200 adolescents, with ages understood between the 15 and 18 years of age, that attend 10º, 11º and 12º grade, in the school year of 2007/2008, from some schools of Lisbon region. The used instrument was the Portuguese version of Barrias et al (1986) " Scale of Involvement with the Alcohol in the Adolescente" (AAIS), developed for Mayer and Filstead in 1979. It is a questionnaire constructed with the objective to characterize the adolescents, as the alcoholic beverage use. It is to enhance that all the citizens of the sample affirm already to have consumed alcohol. In concern to these consumptions, half almost ingests drunk distilled, having a lesser prevalence of the beer consumption. The majority drank for 1ª time between the 14 and 15 years of age. In relation to the ingested amounts, 1/3 of the citizens, present a consumption of the type “binge drinking”. The great majority of the sample (about 2/3) meets described as "Drunkards without problems"; 1/3 of the same one are classified as " Drunkards with problems" ; and a small part, is enclosed in " Drinkers irregulars". It also has been verified, that there is a significant direct relation between the frequency and the ingested amount, as well as between the frequency and the beginning of the alcoholic beverage consumptions. | pt_PT |
