Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório está inserido no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1ºCEB na Escola Superior de Educadores de Infância Maria Ulrich e do Instituto Universitário Ciências Psicológicas, Sociais e da Vida (ISPA), em Lisboa no ano letivo de 2016/2017.
Este pretende evidenciar a prática pedagógica desenvolvida com uma turma de 1º ano de escolaridade numa instituição privada, onde procurei desenvolver situações potenciadoras do envolvimento e motivação das crianças, promovendo assim a Educação para a Cidadania.
O tema “Crescer como cidadão” resulta da necessidade de compreender de que modo se podem desenvolver atividades passíveis de serem implementadas para que ocorra uma sensibilização para a Educação para a Cidadania, bem como relacionar as mudanças de atitudes e/ou comportamentos observados nos alunos ao longo do desenvolvimento do projeto.
Este relatório tem como objetivo refletir e analisar o contributo da Educação para a Cidadania para a formação de cidadãos responsáveis e conscientes.
A metodologia que me permitiu realizar esta investigação foi de caratér qualitativo, tendo utilizado como instrumentos de recolha de dados a observação e as atividades implementadas.
Para responder à problemática em causa foi necessário proceder a uma revisão de literatura, analisando autores de referência na área, o que me permitiu entender melhor os conceitos chave. Para além da pesquisa, foi também fundamental refletir sobre as atividades realizadas com os alunos.

This report is part of the Masters Course in Pre-School Education and Teaching of primary school at the Escola Superior de Educadores de Infância Maria Ulrich and Instituto Universitário Ciências Psicológicas Sociais e da Vida (ISPA), in Lisbon, in the academic year of 2016/2017. The purpose of this study is to highlight the pedagogical practice developed with a first grade class in a private institution, where I sought to develop situations that foster the involvement and motivation of children, thus promoting Education for Citizenship. The theme “Growing as a citizen”, results from the need to understand how to develop activities that can be implemented to raise awareness of Citizenship Education, as well as to relate the changes of attitudes and / or behaviors observed in the students through the development of the project. This report aims to reflect on / analyze the contribution of Education for Citizenship to the formation of responsible and conscientious citizens. The methodology that allowed me to carry out this research was qualitative character, using observation instruments and the implemented activities as instruments of data collection. In order to answer the problematic in this question, it was necessary to carry out a literature review, analyzing authors of reference in the area, which allowed a better understanding of the key concepts. In addition to the research, it was also fundamental to reflect on the activities carried out with the students.
