| dc.description.abstract | As NEE e as atitudes dos alunos face às mesmas têm sido estudadas por vários autores. Estudos indicam que as atitudes favoráveis surgem dos alunos com contacto. Essas atitudes podem sofrer a influência das habilitações literárias dos seus pais. Em geral os pais têm atitudes positivas face à inclusão dos alunos com NEE. No presente estudo coloca-se o problema se os alunos que têm contacto com os colegas com NEE apresentam atitudes mais favoráveis do que os alunos que não tem contacto com os colegas. Saber se o contacto com colegas com NEE e se as habilitações literárias dos pais influenciam as atitudes. No estudo participaram 109 alunos, do 1º ciclo, do 3º e 4º ano, com idades entre os 8 e 11 anos. Foi necessária a utilização de uma escala de atitudes sociais face à inclusão e uma entrevista. Ambos os instrumentos permitiram determinar a aceitação dos pares com NEE face ao contacto com os pares com NEE. Os resultados não vão ao encontro de outros estudos. O estudo indica que alunos com contacto com pares com NEE têm atitudes desfavoráveis, e os pais cujas habilitações literárias são inferiores ao 7º ano têm atitudes favoráveis. Há influência do tipo de NEE e do tempo que os colegas estão na sala de aula. Havendo a necessidade de se realizarem mais estudos neste sentido. Palavras-chave | por |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The special educational needs and the colleague’s attitudes facing them is a subject that has already been studied by several authors. Some papers state that the students with contact show better attitudes than the ones without contact with kids that have special educational needs. The attitudes the students take can also suffer the influence of the literacy level of their parents even though generally speaking the parents have positive attitudes facing the inclusion of special educational needs students. In this paper the targeted problem is if the students with contact show more positive attitudes facing the students with special educational needs than the ones without contact. The goal is to try to understand if the contact with this kind of students and the parents literacy level have any influence on the attitudes. To get the results there were 109 elementary students as participants from 3rd and 4th year classes with ages between 8 and 9 and 10 and 11 years old. It was needed to use a social attitudes scale over inclusion and an interview. Both instruments allowed to determine the acceptance of the special educational needs students facing the contact with this kind of students. The results achieved do not meet the conclusions drawn from other studies. This paper concludes that students with contact show worse attitudes and the parents with literacy level prior to 7th grade show supportive attitudes. The type of special educational need does have influence on the results and also the time the students with contact spend with the colleagues with special educational needs in the classroom.
