Abstract(s)
The divorce has become more frequent, having a bad role in pre-adolescence, a period which is already disruptive, disorganized with difficult adaptation in which the family has the organized role, even though the need for independence by the pre-adolescent. There are few investigations on the qualitative level, the majority being quantitative on systemic approach. This dissertation aims the study of the family representation in pre-adolescents from families with divorced parents. The sample consisted in 14 pre-adolescent males with 13 and 14 years old, which 7 of them have divorced parents and the other 7 belong to “traditional families”. To submit to the family representation we appealed to the Family Drawing Test of Corman. It has been studied the family representation in both groups, noting that there are differences at this level. In particular, the idealization of the family. Those who are pre-adolescents with divorced parents show a desire to reunite the parents.
