Abstract(s)
Este estudo centra-se na compreensão, em contexto escolar, das perspetivas dos
professores sobre a violência no namoro, as ações de prevenção existentes e as que ainda podem
vir a ser realizadas. Neste sentido a revisão da literatura teve como objetivo fundamentar os
conceitos relacionados com o tema em estudo e a intervenção da comunidade escolar na
prevenção deste tipo de violência.
Deste modo, o estudo seguiu uma metodologia qualitativa. Foram realizadas três
entrevistas de focus group, cada uma constituída por professores que lecionavam na mesma
escola, com um número entre seis a quatro participantes cada. As entrevistas foram recolhidas
nos dias 1 e 2 de julho de 2021, em escolas do Sul de Portugal. Os instrumentos de recolha de
dados passaram, primeiramente, pela aplicação de um questionário sociodemográficos e, de
seguida, por uma entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados recolhidos foram objeto de análise de
conteúdo, foi utilizado uma categorização em forma de tabela das entrevistas que se realizaram
aos professores.
A análise de resultados permite concluir que os professores detêm algumas bases e
conceitos desta temática, contudo posso considerar que é escasso o seu conhecimento sobre
este tema, havendo ainda muito trabalho a desenvolver junto deles.
Pretender-se-ia que os professores e a comunidade escolar tivessem a capacidade de
identificar casos de violência no namoro assim como ter formação adequada e ser capazes de
implementar programas de intervenção e prevenção.
This study focuses on the comprehension, in school context, of the teacher’s perspectives about violence in the relationship, existent prevention actions and other prevention actions that, can be possible to apply. This way, the literature revision had as an objective justify the related concepts of the matter in study, and the intervention of the school community on the prevention of this type of violence. This way, the study followed a qualitative methodology. Were performed three focus group interviews, each one constituted by teachers that lectured in the same school, each with a number between six to four participants. The interviews were collected on the 1st and 2nd of July 2021, in schools of south of Portugal. The data collection instruments first went through an application of sociodemographic questionnaires, followed of a semi-structured interview. The collected data has been subject of content analysis, and a categorization in the form of a table of the interviews conducted with teachers. The result analysis allows to conclude that professors have some bases and concepts about this thematic, although it can be considered scarce their knowledge about this subject, and there still is a lot of work to be developed along them. The intention was that teachers and school community had the capacity of identifying relationship violence cases, proper training and be able to implement intervention and prevention programs
