Abstract(s)
compreensão do indivíduo inserido numa cultura.
A escolha do método
transgeracionais.
ABSTRACT: This study is a qualitative analysis of two interviews by two generations of women from the Belmonte crypto-Jewish community. The lack of studies in the field of psychology dedicated to the crypto-Jewish community, which is the object of study in other areas of knowledge, led to the need to try to understand this community within the scope of psychology. Given its specificity, it was necessary to frame it within the framework of Ethnopsychoanalysis, a discipline that combines the knowledge of anthropology and psychoanalysis, and which promotes an understanding of the individual within a culture. The method used is a qualitative analysis of unstructured free association interviews, FANI - Free Association Narrative Interview, developed by Hollway and Jefferson (2000, 2001, 2013), anchored in psychoanalytic theory and the premise of the defended and contradictory subject. The choice of the qualitative method is related to the need for a free, non-directive collection that would allow the subjects to express themselves without conditioning. The analysis of the narratives highlighted the themes of identity and the female-male relationship, which provided information on the quality of intergenerational and transgenerational content and the ways in which it is transmitted. The conclusion of this study highlights a field of possibilities yet to be explored that would enhance a better understanding of this population, which, although circumscribed, can help to shed light on issues that have been little explored throughout history, such as the trauma of the isolation to which they were subjected, silencing, and the psychic maintenance of transgenerational dynamics.
