Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi realizado na unidade curricular Prática Supervisionada em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino, no ano letivo 2020/2021.
O estágio decorreu numa instituição privada que adota o modelo HighScope, na sala do 1.º ano do Ensino Básico. A turma é formada por 20 crianças, com idades entre os 6 e 7 anos. A sala encontra-se organizada por áreas de trabalho com diferentes materiais correspondentes a cada área. A participação das crianças é muito evidente nesta sala, pois a aprendizagem ativa é a base do método de ensino.
Neste contexto, procurei entender através da observação, como ocorre a aprendizagem com base na participação pelas crianças, a qual é permanente e corresponde aos princípios do referido método bem como a sua aprendizagem.
A metodologia utilizada e que está patente no relatório, foi a metodologia qualitativa. Porquanto foi preponderante a observação não participante, numa primeira fase seguida de uma participação efetiva, com planificação de atividades exclusivas para a participação ativa das crianças, existindo registos no diário de bordo bem como no portfólio.
Assim, a análise feita aos resultados permite responder às questões expostas, a fim de entender a importância da participação da criança na sua aprendizagem e até que ponto contribui para o seu conhecimento.
This report was carried out in the Supervised Practice class in the 1st Cycle of Education, in the academic year 2020/2021. The internship took place in a private institution that adopts the HighScope model, in the 1st year of Basic Education room. The class is made up of 20 children, aged between 6 and 7 years old. The room is organized by work areas with different materials corresponding to each area. The children's participation is very evident in this room, as active learning is the basis of the teaching method. In this context, I tried to understand, through observation, how learning occurs based on children's participation, which is permanent and corresponds to the principles of the before mentioned method, as well as their learning. The methodology used and which is evident in the report was the qualitative methodology. As non-participant observation was predominant, in a first phase followed by effective participation, with planning of exclusive activities for the active participation of children, with records in the logbook as well as in the portfolio. Thus, the analysis of the results allows us to answer the questions exposed, in order to understand the importance of the child's participation in their learning and how far it contributes to their knowledge.
