Abstract(s)
entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas a duas mães. As entrevistas foram gravadas em formato
áudio e posteriormente transcritas e analisadas utilizando o método de análise IPA. Surgiram
ABSTRACT: This paper presents results based on a qualitative research methodology, exploring the loss of a son who committed suicide, through the analysis of semi-structured interviews with two mothers. The interviews were recorded in audio format and later transcribed and analyzed using the IPA method of analysis. Five superordinate themes and several sub-themes: (1) confrontation with the loss/death; (2) feeling guilty/unguilty; (3) re-learn to live with the absence; (4) meaning making about the loss and (5) confrontation with the very incompleteness/damaged living/living without a part. The grief of a child who commits suicide is the most devastating experience that anyone can experience. However, this phenomenon remains under understood. This requires consideration in theoretical and clinical settings.
