Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da unidade curricular Prática Supervisionada
em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, que integra o plano de estudos do Mestrado em Educação Préescolar e ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
O estabelecimento de ensino onde concretizei a minha prática supervisionada e que
potenciou esta investigação, pertence à rede pública e, incidiu numa turma do 1º ano, constituída
por vinte e quatro alunos, com idades compreendidas entre os seis e os sete anos de idade.
A professora cooperante implementava nas suas práticas educativas, na componente do
currículo de Estudo do Meio, o que denominava por Trabalhos de Projeto, em que as temáticas
que eram desenvolvidas nestes, eram escolhidas pelo adulto e abordavam sempre os conteúdos
mencionados no próprio currículo. Na verdade, a Metodologia de Trabalho de Projeto sempre
foi algo que me interessou pelas características que lhe são próprias, permitindo que os alunos
desempenhem um papel ativo no seu processo de aprendizagem, desenvolvendo nestes
múltiplas competências. Este estudo visa assim, compreender de que forma se pode dinamizar
um Trabalho de Projeto, na componente de Estudo do Meio, e ainda, quais os contributos da
sua implementação para os alunos.
No decorrer desta investigação, a metodologia adotada foi de natureza qualitativa,
recorrendo a diferentes instrumentos de recolha de dados: a observação naturalista com registos
concretizados no diário de bordo e em grelhas de observação; a recolha documental e
entrevistas.
A concretização deste estudo e consequentemente os seus resultados, evidenciam a
relevância e as potencialidades que a implementação da MTP promove nos alunos:
competências sociais, desenvolvimento integral e aquisição de aprendizagens significativas,
com maior incidência na componente de Estudo do Meio.
ABSTRACT: The current report has been done in the curricular unit sphere Curricular Unit of Supervised Practice in primary school which incorporates the master’s degree in the educational plan in preschool education and teaching of primary education. The school where I have done my overseen teaching and which boosted that research, belongs to Public Schools and was focused in a class of the First Grade, composed of twentyfour pupils aged 6 and 7 years old. The Cooperating Teacher introduced that Project Work in her educational practices and also curricular content of Estudo do Meio (Environmental Studies). However, the subject areas developed in the Project Work were chosen by the adult and were always the same content mentioned in the curriculum. With this in mind, and as I’m very fond of methodology concerning Project Work, allowing that students have an ative role in their learning process, building up their various skills. So, this study aims to understandig the dynamics of a Project Work in its Estudo do Meio (Environmental Studies) content and in their implementation input. In this research, we must keep in mind that the adopted methology had been from a quality nature appealing to several mechanisms of information gathering: natural through files kept in the logbook; collect information and observation grids and interviews. The achievement of this investigation and consequently its results demonstrates the relevance and the potential that the implementation of MTP promotes in students: social skills, integral development and acquisition of significant teachings, with greater incidence in the science and history component
