Abstract(s)
This research aims to assess ways of measuring the possible existence of risk factors for suicide, by the perception of teachers on the occasion of his living teaching with students. There is also the intention of verifying the existence of correlations between dimensions "Intervention" and "Isolation" and the level of significance between "Have you ever had suicidal thoughts?" and "Intervention". The sample consisted of 79 teachers, 61 female and 18 males with a mean age of 40.04 years. The dimensions "Signs" and "Intervention" were operationalized through two scales created from Signals Scale Gouveia-Pereira (2009) and the Intervention Scale from Gouveia-Pereira (2009). There was a significant positive correlation between "Isolation" and "Intervention" (r =. 331, p <0.001). There was also a significant positive correlation between “Comunication suicide forms” and “Behavior distorted by depressive signs" (r =. 0519, p <0.001) and a significant positive correlation between" Intervention" and " Emotional support" (r =. 329th, p <0.001).
