Abstract(s)
O presente estudo, teve como objetivo a criação e implementação de um programa de promoção de
competências socio-emocionais, com base no modelo SEL – Social and Emocional Learning. O nome do
programa “Vamos fazer Psicologia”, foi escolhido pelos participantes, alunos de uma turma de 4º ano letivo,
do ensino básico. Esta investigação, através do programa de competências socio-emocionais, teve como
principais objetivos avaliar o impacto do programa na turma no que diz respeito às suas competências socioemocionais, avaliar o impacto do programa no comportamento disruptivo da turma e avaliar o impacto do
programa nos níveis de ansiedade da turma;. Para levar a cabo esta investigação, foi realizado um estudo de
caso, uma vez que, atravésdesta metodologia é possível obter dados de diferentes fontes, como observar a
problemática no contexto em que ocorre, com os atores que a vivenciam, adicionando entrevistas, consulta
de documentação, entre outros. O primeiro passo, foi procurar determinar as necessidades iniciais da turma,
dos alunos e do professor, recorreu-se à utilização de duas escalas (STAIC e EACE) que permitiram
estabelecer quais as competências socio-emocionais existentes nos participantes e quais os seus níveis de
ansiedade. Seguiu-se o momento de intervenção, onde o programa “Vamos fazer Psicologia” foi aplicado
durante 20 sessões, com registos sistemáticosentre sessões, de forma a ser realizada uma descrição evolutiva
dos participantes. Num terceiromomento, através dos mesmos instrumentos utilizados, no pré-intervenção,
voltou-se a medir os níveis de ansiedade e as competências socio-emocionais dos participantes. Da análise
aos dados obtidos, foi possível verificar que, a intervenção do programa “Vamos fazer Psicologia”,levou a um
ganho nas competências socio-emocionais, os comportamentos disruptivos diminuíram, foi possível
estabelecer uma ligação entre programas SEL e a ansiedade, tendo diminuído os níveis de ansiedade nos
participantes, e por último, foi possível verificar, que as ligações passaram a ser mais empáticas e de
colaboração, entre os membros da turma. Os resultados obtidos levam a que seja possível afirmar, que o
programa de promoção de competências socio-emocionais “Vamos fazer Psicologia” cumpriu todos os
objetivos.
ABSTRACT: This study aimed at creating and implementing a program to promote social-emotional competencies based on the SEL - Social and Emotional Learning model. The name of the program "Vamos fazer Psicologia" was chosen by the participants, who are students from a 4th grade class in basic education. This research, through the socio-emotional skills program, had as main objectives to assess the impact of the program on the class regarding their socio-emotional skills, to assess the impact of the program on the disruptive behaviour of the class, and to assess the impact of the program on the anxiety levels of the class;. To carry out this research, a case study was carried out, since, through this methodology it is possible to obtain data from different sources, such as observing the problem in the context in which it occurs, with the actors who experience it, adding interviews, consultation of documentation, among others. The first step was to try to determine the initial needs of the class, the students and the teacher, two scales (STAIC and EACE) were used to establish which socio-emotional skills existed in the participants and their levels of anxiety. This was followed by the intervention moment, where the "Vamos fazer Psicologia " program was applied during 20 sessions, with systematic records between sessions, in order to carry out an evolutionary description of the participants. In a third moment, through the same instruments used in the pre-intervention, the levels of anxiety and socio-emotional skills of the participants were measured again. From the analysis of the data obtained, it was possible to verify that the intervention of the program "Vamos fazer psicologia " led to an increase in socio-emotional skills, disruptive behaviors decreased, it was possible to establish a link between SEL programs and anxiety, having decreased the levels of anxiety in participants, and finally, it was possible to verify that the links became more empathic and collaborative among the members of the class. The results obtained lead to the conclusion that the program for the promotion of socio-emotional skills "Vamos fazer Psicologia" has met all its objectives
