| dc.description.abstract | Este artigo pretende contribuir para o esclarecimento do que são travestis prostitutas, enquanto indivíduos pertencentes ao grupo dos transgéneros, ou seja, grupo de indivíduos que opera transformações de género. Pretendemos contribuir para a compreensão dos processos de transformação do corpo, da identidade de género e do ser travesti. Abordaremos a importância do sexo e da homossexualidade na construção deste ser. Caracterizar as travestis, implica a caracterização das suas representações internas e externas, bem como, uma aproximação às representações dos diversos actores sociais que com elas se relacionam. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: This article wish to clarify what are prostitutes travestites while individuals belonging to the transgender group or group of individuals that operate some changes in their gender. We intend to contribute to the understanding of the process of transformation of body, gender identity and what is being a travestite. We will discuss the importance of sex and homossexuality in the construction of this being. To characterize the travestite involve the characterization of their internal and external representations as well as the representations of the diferent social actors who are related to them. | pt_PT |
