Abstract(s)
dependendo do contexto.
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to understand the relationship between three different variables: resilience, depression, and attachment. Considering the period of metamorphosis that adolescents go through, as described by Coimbra de Matos (2002, p. 147) as "the passage of the Cape of Storms - depicted as difficult and dangerous - which transforms into the Cape of Good Hope," it is important to grasp how depression can affect their journey and which processes can protect or threaten adolescents. The sample in this study consists of 29 students aged between 15 and 18 years, among them, 11 are male and 18 are female, with 12 being of the male gender and 17 of the female gender, and with an average age of the participants being 17 years. It is possible to understand from analyzing the data that there are differences between the male and female genders, with the female gender having a greater tendency to invest in relationships than the male gender, with higher values associated with the dimensions of Dependency, and the male gender having higher levels of Perception of Self. The different genders go through different socialization processes which are very important to understand how the variables work. In terms of resilience, it is essential to bear in mind that it varies according to the individual, as risk factors for one person may be considered protective for another, depending on the context. Finally, there is a reflection on the results obtained, the limitations and what could be done in the future.
