letras.
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of factors there are intrinsic to the knowledge of the name and sound of letters, at the quality of children's invented spellings, before the formal teaching of reading and writing. Specifically the aim was to study the nature facilitator of words containing the names of letters and words containing the sound of the letters, in the initial syllable and in the final syllable, for the mobilization of those letters in early phonetic processes. We also examined the relationship of writing phonetization performed with the point of articulation of the letters, comparing letters with fricative sounds and letters with occlusive sound. We selected 15 participants aged between 5-6 years of kindergarten, children who belonged to the conceptual level syllabic without phonetization. The task was dictated a list of words that met the requirements considered facilitators. It was found that the written productions, there were on average more letters correctly deployed in words whose initial syllable corresponded to the names of the letters
