| dc.description.abstract | O presente Relatório Final da Prática Supervisionada foi desenvolvido tendo como base o contexto de internamento da pediatria de um hospital oncológico onde decorreu o estágio de intervenção. Com a elaboração deste trabalho pretendeu-se entender e analisar qual o papel do/a educador/a de infância neste contexto, tendo por base a relação do/a mesmo/a com os diferentes intervenientes, destacando-se a relevância da sua intervenção junto de crianças e respetivos acompanhantes. Trata-se de um estudo de caso, em que foi utilizada uma metodologia qualitativa, baseada em observações que foram sendo realizadas ao longo da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, e que se traduziram em notas de campo. Estas foram complementadas por entrevistas semi-dirigidas realizadas às três educadoras do Hospital onde decorreu a investigação. A pesquisa bibliográfica efetuada, em articulação com a análise de conteúdo das observações e entrevistas, proporcionou o suporte para melhor articular, sustentar, descrever e compreender as situações experienciadas, inerentes a um contexto tão particular de estágio como o hospitalar. Após este percurso de investigação, observação e intervenção, foi possível concluir que o papel do/a educador/a é determinante para a humanização nos hospitais, sendo que este/a deve respeitar tanto as necessidades e escolhas das crianças, como as dos seus acompanhantes e, assim, contribuir para o seu bem-estar, nomeadamente aliando a relação pedagógica onde se destaca o brincar, ao respeito pelo outro e pela sua identidade. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The present Final Report of the Supervised Practice was conceived having as reference the paediatric internment of an oncologic hospital where the internship took place. This research aimed to understand and analyse the role of the early childhood educator in this context, having as reference the relationship between the educator and the different subjects, having children and their caregivers as the main focus. It is a case study, where a qualitative methodology was used, based in observations that were being made along with the Supervised Practice, that ended up as field notes. These have been completed by semi-directed interviews to the three kindergarten teachers of the Hospital where the investigation took place. The bibliographic research was done in articulation with the analyses of the observations and of the interviews content, which provided a better support to articulate, describe and understand the experienced situations, inherent to a context as particular as the hospital. After this investigation, observation and intervention path, it was possible to conclude that the role of the early childhood educator is determinant for humanization in hospitals, which must respect both the needs and choices of the children and of their caregivers, thus contributing to their well-being, namely combining the pedagogical relationship, where play is highlighted, with respect for other and their identity. | pt_PT |
