Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar a relação entre o estilo de liderança e
o desempenho e se essa relação é mediada pela auto-liderança.
A amostra é composta por 17 elementos de 17 equipas do mundo organizacional, com
idades compreendidas entre os 21 e os 41 anos de idade (M= 29.06; DP= 9.44). Destes 10 são
homens (58.8%) e 7 são mulheres (41.2%).
Para avaliar as variáveis em estudo foram utilizados três instrumentos, para medir a
Liderança foi usada a escala desenvolvida por Avolio e Bass (2004) do MLQ-5x na sua
versão de 45 itens, de modo a medir a Auto-Liderança, foi utilizado o questionários revisto
para o contexto português de Auto-Liderança (Marques-Quinteiro, Curral & Passos, 2012), a
terceira escala a ser utilizada, serviu para medir o Desempenho, e foi então a Escala de
Eficácia de Equipas,(Vicente, Rodrigues & D’Oliveira, 2014)
Os resultados sugerem que apenas uma das 4 hipóteses propostas foi corroborada, de
modo a afirmar que o estilo de liderança tem influência no desempenho.
The main goal of the following study was to understand and analyse the relationship between leadership and team performance, and aims to explore if this relationship is mediated by self-leadership. The sample is composed by 17 members of 17 different organizational teams, with a range of age going from 21 to 41 yers old (M= 29.06; SD= 9.44) Of these, 10 are men (58.8%) and 7 are women (41.2%). In order to evaluate the variables in this study, three instruments were used, in order o measure Leadership, we used Avolio and Bass(2004) MLQ-5x in its 45 items versiom, to measure self-leadership, we used the portuguese version of the self-leadership scale (Marques-Quinteiro, Curral & Passos, 2012), the third instrument was made to measure performance by Vicente, Rodrigues and D’Oliveira( 2014) called Scale of team efficiency. The results suggest that only one of the hypothesis was corroborated, in order to confirm that leadership has influence in performance
