As consequências a longo-prazo (ao nível da parentalidade) em mulheres vítimas de abuso sexual infantil

Abstract(s)
Este estudo tem como objectivo identificar as características das relações de parentalidade de mulheres vítimas de abuso infantil. Os participantes são quatro mulheres, com idades compreendidas entre os 32 e os 44 anos de idade, que, actualmente, já são mães e que foram violadas na infância. Este estudo foi realizado através de entrevistas de investigação que foram gravadas e analisadas segundo a “Grounded Theory”. As entrevistas analisadas indicam que estas mães têm uma história comum de uma relação distante e de falta de afecto com os pais, revictimização (através de si ou daqueles que lhe são mais próximos, os filhos), culpabilização, não só, do agressor mas, e sobretudo, de quem as silenciou, atitudes de prevenção da vitimação dos filhos e uma relação aberta e de amizade com estes, que vai para além das funções de mãe. Os resultados indicam, ainda, e com especial relevo relações de submissão e dependência com o marido/companheiro, dependência esta também manifestada em relação aos filhos.
ABSTRACT: The objective of this study is identifying the characteristics of the parenthood relations of the women victims of child sexual abuse. The participants are four mothers, with ages between 32 and 40 years old, who was a victim of sexual abuse in the childhood. This study was realized with investigation interviews witch was tapped and analysed by the “Grounded Theory” method. The analyse of these interviews shows a commune history of an distant relationship with their parents, an wanting infancy, revictimization, guilting , not only the aggressor, but also the one who didn’t listened them, attitudes of prevention of the victimization of their sons and an open relationship and friendly relation with them, that goes for beyond from the mothers functions. The analyse shows, also, a submissive and dependent relation with pairs and a dependent relationship with their sons too.
