Abstract(s)
Este trabalho pretende perceber quais são as percepções dos profissionais de um serviço de Intervenção precoce sobre as suas práticas, nomeadamente quanto à utilização do modelo centrado na família (ICF) e à utilização dos contextos naturais e rotinas da criança na intervenção. O estudo no âmbito do qual este trabalho foi realizado – O processo de construção de Boas Práticas - decorreu ao longo de três anos.
Analisaram-se um total de 37 entrevistas, feitas a 12 responsáveis de caso, baseadas na Listagem das Práticas Recomendadas em Intervenção Precoce identificadas pela Division for Early Childhood (Sandall et al., 2005) e na “Entrevista/Questionário para Pais e para Técnicos” (Pimentel, 2005), procedendo-se posteriormente a uma análise de conteúdo.
Os resultados obtidos confirmam a existência de algumas práticas de Intervenção precoce centradas na família assim como um aproveitamento das rotinas e contextos de vida da criança para promover o seu desenvolvimento. No entanto, ao longo dos três anos, não foi constatada evolução significativa no sentido de uma implementação mais frequente das práticas recomendadas por parte de todos os profissionais entrevistados.

It is part of a larger study –the process of building good practices – was developed during three years. Thirty seven semi-structured interviews responded by case-managers were analyzed. The interviews were based Recommended Practices of the Division of Early Childhood (Sandall et al., 2005) and on the questionnaire/interview for parents and professionals (Pimentel, 2005). The results of the content analysis showed that some professionals try to implement family-centered intervention and natural environments and routines were frequently used in order to improve children’s development. However, there is no evidence showing that the professionals that were interviewed used recommended practices more frequently in the last year of project.
