ABSTRACT: A good vibe and classroom management will only benefit the good performance of students and teachers. Still, the clime and classroom management aren’t always set to the type of students that exists. It is necessary for teachers to have it in mind to obtain a better progress, interest and commitment of the students. Sometimes, it is the context and the way of how classes are held, that influenciate the clime and the student’s behavior in the classroom. This way, it is relevant to know what is the environment that the classroom clime implies, from the both parties - teachers and students, their preventive management, interpersonal relationship and also to the conduct of students, being this last one, one of most influential to achieve success for a clime and guaranteed classroom management. In this study we counted with the participation of 122 students of the 3rd cycle of a Group of Schools in the county of Odivelas, district of Lisbon. Of these, 59 were boys and 63 girls. This is a comparative study, which aims to be able to understand if the classroom clime changes according to disciplines, in this case, Portuguese and Physical Education, taking into consideration the perception of students. The results point to the perception of the classroom clime in relation to the disciplines of Portuguese and Physical Education. According to statements of students, there are differences in the interpersonal relationship, which allows us to conclude that in the case of Physical Education, the fact that the discipline occurs in a more practical and informal way, allows the teacher to develop strategies to reach and captivate the pupil in other levels, contributing to the relation between them being more positive and then achieve a better performance, motivation and development by the students.
