Abstract(s)
Os videojogos são um elemento cada vez mais presente no quotidiano da
população mundial; a sua transversalidade em termos de idade, os seus inúmeros
elementos atrativos e a sua enorme variedade contribuem para a tendência crescente deste
fenómeno. Posto isto, torna-se pertinente explorar em maior detalhe uma atividade que
pode funcionar como meio de camuflar o sofrimento psicológico de um sujeito.
Objetivo: Este estudo tem como objetivo explorar a possibilidade dos videojogos
constituírem uma fuga defensiva, simulando a retirada primitiva numa experiência
partilhada. Método: No sentido de explorar este objetivo, foram elaboradas um conjunto
de 6 entrevistas a um único sujeito, posteriormente transcritas e analisadas de acordo com
a análise temática. Resultados: Os dados recolhidos demonstram que a hipótese
considerada pode ser sustentada, embora as limitações do estudo, trata-se de uma
observação plausível de maior elaboração.
ASTRACT: Videogames are an element more and more prevalent in everyday life; there are no age boundaries, there is a huge diversity and a number of attractive elements that assure a growing tendency of this phenomena. For that, it is pertinent further elaboration of the possibility of gaming being used as a form of hiding from psychological suffering. Objective: this study objective is to explore the possibility of videogames being an elaboration of a defensive mechanism, a simulation of a psychic retreat in a shared experience. Method: in order to explore the previous possibility a total of 6 interviews were conducted to a subject. These interviews were then transcribed and codified, according to the thematic analysis method. Results: the retrieved data shows that the hypothesis of videogames being a psychic retreat can be considered, although the limitations of this study, these considerations are worth further elaboration.
