Abstract(s)
feminino.
ABSTRACT: Myths are a symbolic language that have an intimate relationship with the uncon scious. Since Freud, psychoanalysis has used Greek mythology to explain and understand psychic phenomena. However, many cultures have their own mythology. A psychoanalyt ic understanding of this will help to understand the human being in its cultural diversity. Thus, the aim of this study was to explore the inner world of two Chilean women and two Bulgarian women after reading the myth of Trauco originating from the island of Chiloé, and to understand the psychic themes that the myth of Trauco evoked in the participants. For this, the free association narrative interview method (Fani) proposed by Hollway and Jefferson (2000) was used. All participants, each in their own way, addressed the issue of sexuality and the representation of masculine and feminine.
