Abstract(s)
A presente investigação teve como objectivo contribuir para a validação portuguesa do Dispositivo de
Despiste de Processo Anti-social (APSD) versão de auto-resposta, medida que avalia traços
psicopáticos em jovens. Recorrendo a 760 participantes adolescentes de ambos os sexos divididos em
grupo forense (n=250) e grupo escolar (n=510) foram demonstradas algumas propriedades psico -
métricas que na generalidade justificam a sua utilização na população adolescente portuguesa,
nomeadamente a nível de validade factorial, consistência interna, estabilidade temporal, validade
discriminante, validade divergente, validade convergente, validade concorrente, validade retrospec -
tiva e ponto de corte.
The present study had the purpose of contributing to the Portuguese validation of the Antisocial Process Screening Device (APSD) self-report, a measure that assesses psychopathic traits in youths. With a total of 760 participants, male (n=543) and female (n=217), divided in an inmate forensic sample (n=250) and a community sample (n=510) we were able to demonstrate some psychometric properties that justify its use with the Portuguese juvenile population, in terms of factor structure, internal consistency, temporal stability, convergent validity, divergent validity, concurrent validity, retrospective validity, and cutoff score.
