Abstract(s)
De acordo com o modelo bidimensional de Bartholomew os indivíduos desenvolvem a sua identidade
e constroem a perceção de si e dos outros, de acordo com as representações transmitidas pelas figuras
significativas de afeto. Os protótipos de vinculação amorosa, associam-se ao desenvolvimento da
saúde mental e bem-estar psicológico nos jovens. Numa amostra de 334 jovens entre os 13 e os 25
anos, pretende-se analisar em que medida os protótipos de vinculação diferem em função da idade,
género, configuração familiar, bem-estar psicológico e psicopatologia. Foram encontradas diferenças
significativas dos protótipos de vinculação face ao género e psicopatologia, contudo não foram
observadas diferenças no que respeita à idade, configuração familiar e bem-estar psicológico. Os
resultados serão discutidos à luz da teoria da vinculação tendo em conta as particularidades dos
protótipos de vinculação de Bartolomeu, com o intuito de perceber o seu contributo no bem-estar
psicológico e desenvolvimento de psicopatologia nos jovens.
ABSTRACT: According to Bartholomew model individuals develop their identity and build the perception of self and others, according representations submitted by the significant figures of affection. Romantic attachment prototypes have relation to mental health and psychological well-being in young. In a sample of 334 young between 13 and 25 years, this study aims to examine the extent of linkage prototypes differ according to age, gender, family configuration, psychological well-being and psychopathology. Significant differences were found on gender and psychopathology, but no differences were observed with regard to prototypes on age, family configuration and psychological well-being. The results will be discussed in the light of attachment theory taking account the particularities of Bartholomew prototypes, in order to realize their contribution to psychological wellbeing and development of psychopathology in young.
