Abstract(s)
Este estudo tem como principal objetivo conhecer as crenças que os consumidores de canábis de longa data têm face à mesma (canábis) e ao seu consumo. Para tal foi constituído um grupo de participantes com dez pessoas, da área da Grande Lisboa e do Grande Porto com idades compreendidas entre os 20 e os 66 anos.
Como forma de melhor conhecer a perspetiva dos sujeitos, foi realizada uma entrevista semiestruturada que foi posteriormente analisada à luz da análise de conteúdo através de um procedimento categorial.
Da análise dos resultados foi possível perceber, entre outras coisas, que uma grande maioria dos participantes considera a canábis como uma das drogas mais “leves” e por esse mesmo motivo consideram os seus consumos como não problemáticos uma vez que os consideram compatíveis com as suas funções de dia-a-dia. É ainda de salientar que apesar da evolução feita nos últimos anos no sentido de compreender os consumos de forma não patológica e do aumento significativo do consumo desta substância todos os participantes referiram sentir algum tipo de descriminação, sobretudo da parte da família.
The main purpose of this study is to find out the beliefs that consumers of cannabis and its consumption. In order to better understand the perspective of these people, we used a sample of ten people from the Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto areas, aged between 20 and 66 years old. In order to better understand the perspective of the subjects, a semi-structured interview which was subsequently analysed in the light of content analysis through a categorical procedure. From the analysis of the results it was possible to perceive, among other things, that a large majority of the participants considers cannabis as one of the "softest" drugs and for this reason, they consider their consumption as unproblematic, since they consider it to be compatible It is also worth noting that despite the fact that the majority of participants consider cannabis to be one of the "lighter" drugs. It is also noteworthy that despite the evolution made in recent years in the sense of understanding consumption in a non-pathological way and the the significant increase in the consumption of this substance, all the participants reported feeling some kind of discrimination, especially from the family.
