Abstract(s)
O presente estudo explora as correlações entre a segurança na relação de vinculação,
estratégias de regulação emocional (Reavaliação Cognitiva e Supressão Emocional), e a
qualidade das relações com as figuras parentais, e o seu impacto no desenvolvimento
emocional e social de adolescentes. Este estudo foca-se no modo como estas variáveis se
interrelacionam e a existência de possíveis diferenças entre sexos. Os dados foram recolhidos
através de uma amostra de 70 adolescentes, utilizando a Kerns Security Scale (KSS) para
avaliar a variável vinculação, o Questionário de Regulação Emocional Para Crianças e
Adolescentes (ERQ-CA) para avaliar a variável regulação emocional, e o Network of
Relationships Inventory (NRI) para avaliar a variável qualidade das relações pessoais com os
pais. Os resultados indicam que uma vinculação segura está relacionada com maiores níveis
de suporte emocional e interações positivas, existindo diferenças entre sexos. Estes resultados
destacam a como a relação entre a vinculação, regulação emocional e qualidade das relações
parentais influencia o bem-estar dos jovens.
ABSTRACT: This study explores the correlations between attachment security, emotional regulation strategies (Cognitive Reappraisal and Emotional Suppression), and parental relationship quality, and it´s impact on adolescent´s emocional and social development. The study focuses on how these variables interrelate and potentially differ by gender. Data were gathered from a sample of 70 adolescents, using Kerns Security Scale (KSS) for attachment, Emotional Regulation Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents (ERQ-CA), and the Network of Relationships Inventory (NRI) for parental relationship quality.
