O conceito de cuidador analisado numa perspectiva autopoiética: Do caos à autopoiése

| dc.description.abstract | Partindo do acto de cuidar como algo intrinsecamente humano e crescente na sociedade actual, estuda-se a relação entre o cuidador e a pessoa alvo dos seus cuidados. Pretende-se que o conceito de “cuidador”, estudado já desde as décadas de 60/70, seja dissecado e posteriormente re-interpretado segundo a Teoria do Sujeito Auto-poiético de Cândido Agra (1990, 2001). Adopta-se uma perspectiva que contempla as dinâmicas geradas entre os doentes e os seus cuidadores (formais e informais), sugerindo diferentes posturas face à doença e suas manifestações, bem como um clima relacional gerado pelo produto da interacção concordante ou dissonante entre cuidador e doente. Verifica-se que mesmo em situações potencialmente desestruturantes é possível intervir de modo a que esta relação de inter-ajuda, dependência e compromisso estabelecida entre as duas pessoa s, seja autopoiética e biopsicossocialmente ajustada, conduzindo a um maior bem- -estar do cuidador e do doente alvo dos seus cuidados. ------ ABSTRACT ------- Having as starting point the act of care as something intrinsically human and growing in the present society, the relationship between the caregivers and those who are the target of the cares has been studied. We intend that the concept of ”caregiver”, studied since the sixties and seventies, be dissected and lately reinterpreted according to the “Autopoietic Subject Theory” of Cândido Agra (1990, 2001). For that purpose, it was adopted a perspective that contempl ates the dynamics generated between patients and caregivers (formals and in formals), suggesting different attitudes to face the disease and its manifestations, as well as different relational environments that emerge from the product of the concorda nt or dissonant’ caregiver-patient interactions. It was observed that even in situations that are potentially disruptive it was possible to intervene, so that caring, dependence and compromise relationships established between the two persons could be autopoietic and biopsychosocially adjusted, leading to a higher well-being of the caregiver and the patient. | por |
