Abstract(s)
This work aimed to find unexploited bridges between mental space and real space, its limits and contents. In the empirical study a new research tool was developed representing the imaginary child’s room. This allowed addressing the issue of autonomy in children raging 4-5 and 7-8 years old, throughout three-dimensional game. The application of this new tool to 11 children produced very interesting results regarding children autonomy and the way children interpret their own space.
