| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo visa perceber se existem diferenças significativas entre géneros e se existe inferiorização relativamente ao sexo feminino, isto é, o presente estudo aborda a temática da discriminação e tem como finalidade averiguar, num contexto de violência doméstica, através de dois cenários hipotéticos onde a vítima pode ser mulher e o agressor homem ou vice-versa, se existe infrahumanização, ou seja, uma menor atribuição de emoções secundárias, que são exclusivas dos seres humanos, relativamente aos membros do exogrupo, por parte dos membros do endogrupo. Faz-se entender de exogrupo e endogrupo o género masculino e feminino consoante o cenário apresentado. Após a recolha e análise de dados concluímos que existem diferenças significativas entre os dois grupos, isto é, os resultados demonstraram que no caso em que o cenário é protagonizado pela vítima homem os participantes do sexo feminino atribuíram mais emoções primárias do que os participantes do sexo masculino, no entanto existe infrahumanização em ambos. Já no cenário da vítima mulher não existe infrahumanização. No seguimento do estudo procurou-se saber se existia heterovitimização secundária, ou seja, se os participantes recorreram a este fenómeno para culpabilizar a vítima como responsável pela situação sucedida, ou seja, as coisas más acontecem a pessoas que de alguma forma fizeram para merece-lo (crença do mundo justo). Os resultados mostraram que, quer a vítima seja homem ou mulher, o participante do género feminino considera que existe este fenómeno. Já o participante masculino, quer a vítima seja homem ou mulher, não considera haver heterovitimização secundária. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present study aims to understand if there are significant differences between genders and if there is inferiority in relation to the female gender, that is, the present study addresses the issue of discrimination and aims to ascertain, in a context of domestic violence, two hypothetical scenarios where victim may be a woman and the aggressor man or vice versa, if there is infrahumanization, that is, a lesser attribution of secondary emotions, which are exclusive to the human beings, relative to the members of the out-group, by the members of the in-group. The out-group and in- b b ngroup are understood to be male and female according to the presented scenario. After data collection and analysis, we concluded that there were significant differences between the two groups, that is, the results showed that in the case where the scenario is carried out by the male victim the female participants attributed more primary emotions than the sex participants masculine, however, there is infrahumanization in both. In the scene of the victim woman there is no infrahumanization. In the follow-up of the study, we tried to know if there was secondary heterovitimization, that is, if the participants resorted to this phenomenon to blame the victim as responsible for the situation, that is, bad things happen to people who somehow did to deserve it, (belief in the just world). The results showed that, whether the victim is male or female, the female participant considers that this phenomenon exists. The male participant, whether the victim is male or female, does not consider secondary heterovitimization. | pt_PT |
