As conclusões
ABSTRACT: This study aims to understand how parents experience the homosexuality of their children. Thus, there was a study with a non-probabilistic sample through semistructured interviews involving three individuals, and 2 were female and one male, aged 38 to 60 years. The results indicate that parents who are challenging the external world of their children, and therefore your inner world, promote their empowerment, are narcizantes and positively invest their children through unconditional love, accept their sexual orientation. On the other hand, parents who see their children as the mirror and narcissistic extension of themselves, tend to view homosexuality of their children as a narcissistic failure, unable to positively overcome the grief of their fantasies and idealizations with regard to homosexual and heterosexual family myth of the child. The findings of this study may point out a faint light on the internal dynamics of the parents.
