The end-of-life approach is a theme that has grown exponentially in research. Their agreement or disagreement can integrate several factors and for this reason, it is necessary to frame variables that may be associated, and it is pertinent to understand if there were divergences in generational and sociodemographic variables. The objective is to identify the relationship between the participants' beliefs about the acceleration of death, the religiosity / spirituality index, quality of life and purpose of life. 507 subjects participated, from 18 to 74 years old (M=2.41; DP=1.28). Data collection took place via software and paper and pencil. The instruments used were the SBI-15, living will, SF-12-V2, and MLQ. The results confirm that there is no significant relationship between the belief in death acceleration and the other variables, but rather an association between the quality of life. life and the purpose of life.
