| dc.description.abstract | O atendimento de toxicómanos suscita múltiplos problemas, de ordem biológica, psicológica, social e jurídica. Pretende-se, pelo presente estudo, investigar os principais modelos de atendimento, com vista à implantação de um modelo novo, integrando as diversas dimensões, necessárias e complementares, na abordagem dos dependentes de drogas. Distinguem-se três modelos principais: o modelo médico-psiquiátrico, que encara mais o aspecto biológico da dependência de drogas ou, ainda, assimila o «viciado» aos «doentes mentais»; o modela comportamental, que recorre a instrumentos de condicionamento ou de dessensibilização e a medidas educativas, coercivas ou sugestivas visando, de maneira directiva, a aquisição de novos tipos de comportamento, de facto propostos ou impostos de fora; o modelo relacional, que, inspirando-se da psicanálise ou ainda, na sua vertente familiar, da abordagem sistémica, propõe uma orientação não-directiva do drogado, tentando explorar e trabalhar os seus conflitos pessoais e sociais inconscientes, as suas motivações e desejos e a sua tendência autodestruidora. Para que o toxicómano chegue a responsabilizar-se por si mesmo e a fazer uma aprendizagem da liberdade no respeito da diferença do outro, faz-se mister a elaboração de um modelo integrado que leva em conta, além do arcabouço teórico, a especificidade antropológica do problema de drogas em geral, na sociedade brasileira em particular. ------- ABSTRACT ------- Difficulties of biological, psychological, social and legal nature may be seen involved in the treatment of drug-addict persons. In this study, the major models used in the treatment are analysed, so as one may arrived at a new model which will better integrate the various factors involved. The major models may be brought down to three: the medical psychiatric model, which enphasizes the biological dependency on drugs and which equates drug-addiction and «mental illness»; the behavioristic model, which utilizes directive conditioning and dessensitizing techniques, as well as educational and suggestional mean, in order to determine new kinds of behavior; the relational model which takes origin from psychoanalysis and the systemic approach and sponsors a non-directive treatment of the drug-addict through the exploration and work on his personal and social unccunscious conflicts, drives and desirer, as well as his self-destructive tendencies. To assure the drug- -addict a way to assume responsibility for his own behavior and to be free by respecting other people’s rights, it is necessary to elaborate an integrative model of treatment which will consider also the anthropological specifity of the problem, referring also to the Brazilian society. | por |
