Mudanças na representação da relação de objecto e na personalidade de duas pacientes ao longo do processo terapêutico

O objectivo é descrever as alterações nas representações de objecto e na personalidade e a sua relação em duas pacientes do mesmo terapeuta ao longo 24 meses de uma psicoterapia psicanalítica. Usámos o Inventário das Representações de Objecto (ORI) e o Shedler-Westen Asessment Procedure-200 (SWAP-200) aos 0, 6, 12, 18 e 24 meses de psicoterapia. Para cada momento foram analisadas quatro sessões gravadas. Verificou-se uma relação entre as mudanças na representação da relação de objeto e a personalidade nas duas pacientes. Em ambas as pacientes verificou-se uma melhoria significativa nas representações da relação de objecto e nos traços de personalidade.
ABSTRACT: The objective is to describe the changes in object representations and personality and their relationship in two patients in the same therapist over 24 months of a psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
