Abstract(s)
As Perturbações do Comportamento Alimentar
a eficácia do tratamento.
particularidades e evolução do tratamento Cognitivo-
Comportamental para as Perturbações Alimentares,
maximizar a relação custo-eficácia e a fazer chegar a
cada paciente, a quantidade de tratamento adequada.
Eating disorders are rare disorders associated with a great psychological comorbility and often with serious medical complications. Although treatment is difficult and complex, several studies have showed that Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment is effective and the first choice treatment for these disorders. Research has been focusing on the study of the psychopathological processes that maintain the problem, and in the treatment components that contribute to enhance treatment efficacy. This paper intends to describe the characteristics of the cognitive-behavioral treatment for Eating Disorders, in a transdiagnostic perspective. Finally, a stepped care approach for eating disorders’ treatment is presented as a strategy for adjusting treatment intensity to each patient's particular needs.
