À procura da identidade masculina cabo-verdiana, no oculto das relações intersubjetivas (e no seu feminino)

Abstract(s)
O objetivo deste estudo é o de explorar os processos de construção identitária, inerentes a uma
fase já adulta, assim como o universo representacional do masculino cabo-verdiano numa lógica
etnopsicanalítica.
Devido à ausência de estudos etnopsicanalíticos sobre o masculino cabo-verdiano, e de estudos
que não tentavam aferir o impacto e a profunda influência do feminino sobre o masculino;
considerou-se relevante estudar a identidade do masculino ao abrigo da noção de cultura,
fortemente mediada pelas relações objetais próximas e ao abrigo da noção de que o masculino
é também conduzido e constituído a partir do feminino.
Os participantes deste estudo são dois jovens adultos cabo-verdianos, com a idade de 32 e 33
anos, que vivem em Portugal, mas que nasceram e são originários da ilha cabo-verdiana de São
Vicente.
O instrumento utilizado foi o da Entrevista Narrativa em Associação livre, através da qual se
analisaram duas narrativas. Num primeiro momento, foram analisadas em contexto de grupo, e
num segundo individualmente, após se terem destacado, alguns dos seus aspetos fundamentais.
Os resultados evidenciaram uma configuração complexa e distinta, que em comum, mostravam
uma tendência psíquica bastante forte para aquilo que decidimos denominar de a fuga do
feminino, como consequência ambígua de se ter estado demasiado próximo da sua profunda
influência, ainda que de formas muito diferentes.
The objective of this study is to explore the processes of identity construction, inherent to an adult phase, as well as the representational universe of the Cape Verdean masculine in an ethnopsychoanalytic logic. Due to the absence of ethno-psychoanalytic studies on the Cape Verdean male, and studies that did not try to gauge the impact and the profound influence of the female on the masculine; it was considered relevant to study the identity of the masculine under the notion of culture, strongly mediated by the close object relations and under the notion that the masculine is also driven and constituted from the feminine. The participants of this study are two young Cape Verdean adults, aged 32 and 33 years old, living in Portugal, but who were born and come from the Cape Verdean island of São Vicente. The instrument used, was the Narrative Interview in Free Association, through which two narratives are analyzed; in a first instance, in a group context, and in a second, individually, after having already been highlighted, some of its fundamental aspects. The results showed a complex and distinct configuration, which in common, showed a strong psychic tendency for what we have decided to call the escape of the feminine, as an ambiguous consequence of being too close to its profound influence, although in very different ways.
