Esta pesquisa identifica as características e a compreensão
do funcionamento psicodinâmico da personalidade
das mulheres obesas, fruto de relações objectais
na primeira infância. A partir dessas relações
com os pais e seu ambiente, estudou-se o desenvolvimento
da oralidade com as figuras paternas ou substitutas
e a interação com a alimentação, correlacionando
esse aspecto com o sentimento depressivo vivenciado
pelas mulheres obesas. A amostra é de 40 sujeitos
pertencentes a três classes socioeconómicas: baixa,
média e alta, sendo que o nível de escolaridade variou
entre 1.º grau incompleto até superior completo. Para
realizar esta investigação, utilizou-se, primeiramente,
o Psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach para compreensão
aprofundada sobre o funcionamento da personalidade
dos sujeitos obesos e, na sequência, fez-se uso da entrevista
diagnóstica a fim de verificar a forma de organização
dos sintomas. Para análise e interpretação
dos dados de Rorschach, utilizou-se o cálculo do percentual
para identificar os dados significativos. Os
achados desta investigação científica contribuem para
prevenção da obesidade.
This research identifies the characteristics and the comprehension of the psychodynamic functioning of the personality of obese women as a consequence of parental relationship during childhood. Starting from these relationships with parents and their environments, the development of the oral phase with the parents or their substitutes was studied, and the interaction with feeding, correlating this aspect with depressive feelings experienced by obese women. The sampling consisted of forty subjects belonging to three social economic classes: low, medium and high; and schooling varying from unfinished first degree to university degree. In order to run the investigation firstly the Psycho-diagnosis of Rorschach was used to deeply understand the functioning of the personality of obese subjects, and the diagnostic interview was used in order to verify the way symptoms were organised. To the analysis and interpretation of Rorschach’s data, the percentage calculation was used to identify the significant data. The findings of this scientific investigation contribute to the prevention of obesity.
