| dc.description.abstract | O aliciamento sexual online e a vitimização sexual online são dois fenómenos emergentes com uma grande relevância social e científica, essencialmente com o aumento da utilização da Internet e do tempo de exposição ao ambiente virtual. Em Portugal, estes fenómenos ainda são pouco explorados, existindo pouca investigação face à relação entre estes dois fenómenos. O presente estudo teve como principal objetivo analisar, de modo retrospetivo, a relação entre o aliciamento sexual online e vitimização sexual online em adultos portugueses. A amostra foi composta por 61 participantes com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 45 anos. Os participantes responderam a quatro questionários – um questionário sociodemográfico, dois questionários referentes ao aliciamento sexual online e um questionário sobre vitimização sexual online. Os resultados do presente estudo indicam uma relação positiva entre o aliciamento sexual online e a vitimização sexual online, sugerindo que o aliciamento sexual online pode relacionar-se com experiências de vitimização sexual online. Assim, os resultados demonstram a importância de promover medidas educativas e preventivas relativamente à literacia digital e emocional, em particular para os grupos de maior vulnerabilidade. | dc.description.abstract | Online sexual grooming and online sexual victimization are two emerging phenomena with major social and scientific relevance, mainly due to the increase in Internet use and the amount of time spent in the virtual environment. In Portugal, these phenomena have not yet been explored in depth; with limited research on the relationship between these two phenomena. The main purpose of this study was to retrospectively explore the relationship between online sexual grooming and online sexual victimization in Portuguese adults. The sample consisted of 61 participants aged between 18 and 45 years. Participants answered four questionnaires: one sociodemographic questionnaire, two questionnaires on online sexual grooming, and one questionnaire on online sexual victimization. The results of this study indicate a positive relationship between online sexual grooming and online sexual victimization, suggesting that online sexual solicitation may be related to experiences of online sexual victimization. Therefore, the results demonstrate the importance of promoting educational and preventive measures for emotional and digital literacy, especially for the most vulnerable groups.
