Abstract(s)
A melhoria dos níveis organizacionais de
produtividade através da utilização de programas de
objectivos e feedback é, possivelmente, o principal
factor explicativo do interesse que os psicólogos têm
demonstrado pelo estudo destas variáveis.
Se bem que os resultados obtidos na investigação
até agora realizada, tenham permitido a obtenção
de conclusões consideravelmente convergentes quanto
aos efeitos, continuam por conhecer os mecanismos
explicativos da relação objectivos/feedback/
/desempenho.
No presente artigo foi testada a importância do feedback na relação objectivos/desempenho e analisados os efeitos desta relação sobre as variáveis satisfação e envolvimento.
ABSTRACT: The improvement of the organizationa1 levels of productivity through the utilization of goal setting and feedback programs are, possibily, the main reasons for the interest that the psychologists have shown for the study of these variables. Even though the results obtained in studies made to date have led to relatively convergent conclusions, the explaining mechanisms of the relation of goals/ /feedback/performance remain to the known. In the present article, the importance of feedback in the relation of goals/performance was tested and the effects of this relation on the satisfaction and involvement variables were analysed.
