O presente estudo tem como objetivo averiguar o efeito mediador dos comportamentos proativos na relação entre a satisfação com a carreira e o desempenho.
Integraram no estudo 357 participantes, colaboradores de diversas organizações sediadas em território nacional, com uma média de 36 anos deidade e que colaboraram voluntariamente, através do preenchimento de um questionário online.
Os resultados mostram que os sujeitos satisfeitos com a sua carreira tendem a apresentar mais comportamentos proativos o que influencia favoravelmente o desempenho dos indivíduos. Assim, verifica-se uma mediação total.
ABSTRACT: The main goal of this study is to verify the impact of proactive behaviours on the relationship between career satisfaction and performance. 357 people took part on this investigation from different organizations located in Portugal, with on average age of 36 years old and participated voluntarily through an online questionary. Results show that people who are satisfied with their career tend to have more proactive behaviours, which influences their performance positively. All in all, it is clear that there is a total mediation.
