Resumo(s)
As autoras estudaram um grupo de díades mãe-
-criança prematura e outro constituído por díades
de termo, com crianças em idade pré-escolar. Constataram
que as mães do primeiro grupo são mais ansiosas
do que as mães de crianças de termo; que existe
uma relação entre a ansiedade das mães e o Quociente
de Desenvolvimento (Q.D.) dos filhos; que as mães
de crianças grande prematuras apresentam um comportamento
diferente do das mães de crianças de
termo.
ABSTRACT: The authors studied the relationship between mother-premature infant and mother-term infant, when these children were at pre-school age level. The results point to: greater anxiety levels in the mothers of the first group; a relationship between level of maternal anxiety and infant D.Q.; mothers of prematures exibit different behaviours to those of term infants.
