Abstract(s)
Na nossa perspectiva, o computador é mais um
instrumento de trabalho na sala que os alunos podem
utilizar livremente para escreverem os seus textos,
elaborarem os jornais escolares, construirem os seus
ficheiros e projectos.
A criança não deve ser ensinada pelo computador,
mas deve sim dominar a máquina, deve ser ela a
«ensinar coisas» ao computador, podendo este ser um
instrumento pedagógico inovador, provocatório de
situações muito ricas de aprendizagem. Esta nossa
opção levou-nos a escolher como software um bom
processamento de texto, base de dados, e a linguagem
de programação LOGO.
ABSTRACT: The computer should be seen as one more tool that students may use freely at school, to help them write their texts, prepare school newspapers, make their files and develop their projects. Children should not be taught by the computer, they should dominate and «teach» the computer. The computer can be used as an innovative learning tool, if it creates rich learning situations. We have therefore decided to use in class a good word processor, a database, and the LOGO programming language.
