Abstract(s)
as crenças comportamentais e normativas
mais frequentes nos condutores, relativamente a dois
tipos de transgressão - velocidade excessiva e condução
sob a influência do álcool.
comportamento planeado e construir o questionário final.
ABSTRACT: This article presents the preliminary results of a broad research project that aims to study a set of social-motivational variables (beliefs, values and attitudes) determinants of drivers’ Portuguese intentionality to commit traffic violations. The ultimate goal of this research is to focus on the prediction and understanding of intentions to commit driving violations. Taking the Theory of Planned of Behavior (Ajzen, 1985), we identify the most frequent behavioral and normative beliefs, in relation with two kinds of driving violations (speeding and drinking-driving). With these drivers’ beliefs and values we will be able to construct a set of items to evaluate the various dimensions of the Theory of Planned Behavior, and to the construction of the main questionnaire.
