Apresentamos aqui uma perspcctiva epistemológica
diferente - a perspectiva praxeológica. A praxeologis,
designada também por metodologia geral é algo novo
e algo velho ao mesmo tempo, novo enquanto disciplina
científica e velho, enquanto conhecimento quotidiano.
Este ramo científico aborda a problemática da
eficiência da actuação humana, analisando os conceitos
relacionados com a actuação intencional, criticando
os métodos utilizados na prática do ponto de vista da
sua eficiência e eficácia e, apresentando os modos de
aperfeiçoamento da actuação.
Parece-nos que a praxeologia é pouco conhecida ou
mesmo desconhecida em Portugal. Daí também a
nossa preocupação em apresentar esta abordagem, as
suas origens, principais conceitos e pressupostos te&
ricos, apesar de ser apenas de forma muito resumida e
tendo em conta a produção científica desenvolvida
neste âmbito por Tadeusz Kotarbinski e pelos seus diçcípulos.
Tliis paper presents a different epistemological approach - the praxiological one. Praxiology, also called general methodology, is simultaneously something both new and old - it is new as a scientific discipline and it is old as a commonsensua1 knowledge. This scientific branch deals with the issue of effectiveness of human action and analyses the concepts related to intentional action. It criticizes the methods used in practice from the point of view of its efficiency and effcacy, as well as it presents different ways of improving action. It seems to us that praxiology is a little known or even unknown branch of knowledge in Portugal. For this reason we have been concerned in introducing this approacli, its origin, main concepts and theoretical basis, even if it is presented in a summarized form in comparison to Tadeusz Kotarbinski’s and his discipies’s scientific output.
